<div>Imagine dreaming you had one chance to write a song that all the world would sing, and your dream came true. Now imagine experiencing a life challenging illness that your share of the sales of that song, barely support your mounting medical expenses. Such is the case of Nadine Scott McKinnor.

<div>The year was 1970. The songwriter, Nadine, the recording artist, Donny Hathaway. The song? “This Christmas.” To date, over 300 artists have recorded this song. Unfortunately because of industry practices and standards in the early 70’s, Ms. McKinnor failed to protect her interests and did not benefit financially to the extent we would imagine today.

<div>History is littered with countless untold stories about the accomplishments of hidden black female figures. For over 50 years, we’ve been inspired by this heartfelt Christmas classic. Now due to a sudden debilitating stroke, in September, Nadine is in need of financial support to assist with mounting medical bills not covered by her insurance.

<div>Please show your love to this inspirational woman and writer of our beloved classic….” And this Christmas will be a very special Christmas for me”, …..you and Nadine. We love Donny Hathaway for recording this song and making it the mega-hit it is today. It was definitely a match made in Heaven.
