<div>Ein Schicksalsschlag kann jeden treffen und dieses Jahr traf es unsere lieben Freunde Erik, Francesca und Anton.

<div>Die kleine Familie lebt in Grimma und wurde von jetzt auf gleich vor neue Herausforderungen gestellt.
</div>
<div>Im Januar erlitt Erik auf dem Weg zur Arbeit einen Bandscheibenvorfall, welcher sich bis ins Rückenmark ausdehnte. Er konnte plötzlich nicht mehr laufen und seine Beine spüren. Diagnose: Inkomplette Querschnittslähmung.

<div>Mehrere Wochen in den Kliniken in Borna und Bad Berka brachten zwar Fortschritte, aber auf den Rollstuhl wird er weiterhin angewiesen sein.
</div>
<div>Dadurch benötigt die Familie um den 35-Jährigen eine neue, rollstuhlgerechte Wohnung. Diese gibt es nicht wie Sand am Meer und ein Umbau muss aus eigener Tasche finanziert werden. Es muss in eine ebenerdige Dusche investiert werden, in der Küche muss eine Arbeitsfläche in einer rollstuhlgerechten Höhe integriert werden. Damit Erik mobil sein kann, muss ein geeignetes Auto angeschafft werden.

<div>Für einen perfekten Rollstuhl und Rollator muss ebenfalls tief in die eigene Tasche gegriffen werden.
</div>
<div>Was alles auf die Familie zukommt, zeigt die Zeit, aber wir wollen darauf vorbereitet sein und unterstützen.
</div>
<div>Einen Eisbecher weniger dieses Jahr und schon freut sich Erik über eine kleine Spende.
</div>
<div>Aktuell befindet sich Erik in Greifwald in einer Rehaklinik. Dies ist nicht der kürzeste Weg um ihn regelmäßig zu besuchen, denn die Reisekosten sind hoch. Die junge Familie möchte ja auch wieder Zeit miteinander verbringen.
</div>
<div>Erik arbeitet jeden Tag hart in der Reha. Sein großes Ziel - Laufen können zur Einschulung seines Sohnes.
