<div>Leider nein – nicht sofort und nicht vollständig. Die gegnerische Versicherung prüft alles. Das kann Monate dauern. Und für Selbstständige ist es nicht selbstverständlich, dass ihnen der komplette Arbeitsausfall ersetzt wird, da wir keine Gehaltsbescheinigungen vorlegen können.

<div>Seit nun fast 4 Wochen habe ich kompletten Verdienstausfall. Ich bekomme keinen Cent, habe keine Mobilität, keinen Lohnersatz – aber Kinder, die zur Schule müssen, Hunde, die versorgt werden müssen, und Rechnungen, die bezahlt werden wollen.

<div>Ich bin völlig auf mich gestellt. Keine Väter meiner Kinder, die mich unterstützen, keine Eltern, keine Familie, kein Sicherheitsnetz.

<div>Unfortunately, no — not immediately, and not fully. The other driver's insurance is still reviewing the case. That can take months. And as a self-employed person, I have no pay slips to prove income, which means no guaranteed compensation for lost earnings.

<div>I’ve now been without income for nearly four weeks.
</div>
<div>I haven’t received a single cent. I have no mobility, no replacement income — but I still have children who need to get to school, dogs that need care, and bills that must be paid.
