Help me pay for my medicine

My name is Steven but most of you know me as Alex.
I have struggled with my weight my entire life. In 2019, I began the journey to complete bariatric surgery in hopes of getting my weight down to a healthy level.
Then COVID happened and things got put on hold until I restarted the process again in 2023.
I have gone through the process again with Meritus Bariatric Specialists in 2023. I was cleared medically, psychologically, and cleared with the heart specialists, thinking I was on my way to surgery. I began this process at 560 lbs. After meeting with my team of dietitians, surgical specialists, talking with people who’ve gone through the surgery, and changing my entire lifestyle, I have met my goal weight of 500 lbs.
I had completed every thing that was required of me to do the surgery.
Unfortunately, despite going through the trials, my insurance has decided to deny the surgery. There was no communication given to me while I was going through the process. I did not find out until about 2 weeks ago.
While I file an appeal with the insurance company, the doctors want to put me on a medicine called Wagovy. (It’s basically ozempic)
However, even with insurance, and coupons, and what not, I still cannot afford the medicine I need to take.
I know everyone has their own families, stories, and financial obligations. Any little bit helps.
Thank you for all the help.
-Alex.
