Mary Brauer's medical support fund

Facing challenges is part of life. Facing a life threatening disease is difficult enough; facing those with financial insecurity doubles the stress and decreases the chances for healing. Teachers sacrifice a lot, including low pay and little abilty to pay or do extra.
Mary Brauer has devoted her life to helping others. As a long time educational support for children at the Washington Waldolf School she has touched literally thousands of lives. Her husband John has also devoted his life to students as class teacher. Now they need our help.
Mary has an inoperable brain tumor. She is undergoing both radiation and chemotherapy to increase her life expectancy. As expensive as this is, it does not begin to cover the extra costs of alternate and palliative care.
Now Mary and her dear husband John need us to touch their lives by giving generously to this fund to give her the best chance for life as well as a healing and caring medical treatment.
