Wissick Family Fund

The Pal-Mac Swim Family has started this page to help Lisa Wissick, one of our swim parents,  who recently suffered a severe stroke. Lisa is a single mother of three beautiful children, who has already been overwhelmed with bills as a result of a previous medical condition. The expenses she will incur as a result of her stroke will only add to an already over-extended medical budget. Though they are optimistic, the doctors say that it will be a lengthy recovery for her.

Lisa's three children are all involved in swimming. Ian is a sophomore on the varsity team, and Zach and Zoe (twins) are 7th graders on the modified teams. All three kids also have participated in our Sea Raiders Swim Club, which Lisa has volunteered as treasurer for over the past five years.

As a single mother, Lisa has dedicated her life to her three children. In addition to working a full time job, she also makes sure that her kids make it to all of their extracurricular activities including swim, dance, musical practices, and karate.

Though Lisa has the help of her parents and sister, her current condition has been both emotionally and financially stressful on the family.

Our hope is that we will be able to raise enough money to offset the cost of these growing medical bills and to help reduce the financial strain on the family.
