On Sunday, February 22, 2015, we all woke up thinking it was a normal day. A normal day of church, relaxing, maybe catching up on work. We received the hardest phone call of my life at 8:52 am that morning. We received a phone call that my beautiful sister had gone to be with The Lord.
Michelle Wray Maslyn was a daughter, wife, and mother of 5 absolutely perfect, beautiful children. Michelle left us 5 beautiful gifts, Tyler, 15, Taylor, 14, Christian, 12, Brianna, 6, and Lucas, 1.
These children are feeling the pain, loss and sorrow of losing a mother. These beautiful children do not fully comprehend what has happened. All of the children have been spending hours writing letters and gathering items to give as a last gift to their beautiful mother. Brianna keeps telling us how her mommy is a beautiful angel with beautiful angel wings watching over her.
Over the next days, months, years, and for the rest of their lives, these children are going to be dealing with the pain of losing their mother, such a beautiful soul. These children will not have a mother to help them get ready for prom, to meet the first girlfriend or boyfriend, see their graduation, see them find the love of the life and get married, for Lucas his mother will not see his first steps. Our family asks for your prayers for this family and these beautiful children. We ask that you pray for God to wrap his arms around these children to help comfort them during this tragic time. We ask that you pray for God to give them peace and understanding.
We have created this fundraiser to help to rebuild these children's lives as they will have to begin a new start without a mother. Michelle always made so many sacrifices for each and every one of her children, most of the time going without so that her children would have any and everything they needed. We want to thank you all for your kind words, prayers, thoughts and condolences through this difficult time. Thank you for being here for our family to love us through this pain and sorrow.
