Help for the Vilardo Family

Any one who knows The Vilardo family knows they are a good upstanding family in the community just trying to raise their family. The have 4 children, 3 sons, Shaun Anthonie (whom is graduating this year and going to attend university), Dawson, and Chance Thomas, who are currently at home (ages 13,15,18) and have a daughter, Karisa, and son in law, Gary B, who are active duty military and their daughter Sawyer Noelle. Shaun has been at Jurgesens’ Asphalt since 1996. His normal work week is 70+ hours. He has alway been a very hard working man providing for his family even while he was going through chemo 6 years ago.

Sallie has been running a home day care, Land of Little People, since 2001. She is one bull headed stubborn woman that has always put the children and others before herself. The Vilardo family has unfortunately fallen victim to what seems like medical problem after medical problem.

Recently Sallie has been diagnosed with spinal stenosis of the c3-c7 vertebrae and required her to under go surgery in February. She had a procedure done called anterior cervical discetomy and fusion with allografting. The spinal stenosis had caused her extreme pain and can cause her arm to go numb. Everyone who knows Sallie, knows that she has put her heart and soul into running her home day care, but between the pain and surgery it has taken its toll on her to say the least. The recovery time from surgery is in between 6-8 weeks making it impossible to run her business and essentially eliminating her income during this time.

Her husband, Shaun has unfortunately found out that his stage 3-melanoma cancer that was previously in remission for 6 years is now back. He is potentially facing surgery himself in the near future. Which has really taking a toll on his spirit.

On top of this Dawson was also diagnosed with the flu only to have it complicated with pneumonia, again.

Lets show this family some support and help making dealing with their medical problems a primary focus and not the medical bills that are piling up.
