My name is Chelsea and I play the piano. I am about to finish my masters and have been accepted into a music festival in Hungary. It is an opportunity to study with some amazing teachers and perform in some of the oldest and beautiful music halls in Europe.
This two week trip will include master classes, private lessons and recitals. The fee is $3000 for festival fees, airfare and lodging. I hope to reach my goal by April!
With this being my last summer to travel before I am officially done with school, I am determined to make it count. I want to visit this beautiful country, eat the food, experience the culture and learn some of the language. The fact that I would be studying beautiful music on the piano is a huge bonus. I am always looking for exciting ways to improve as a classical pianist. I want to improve not only how I playing but how I teach. My studio consistes of 20 students, all enthusiastic in their pursuit of music. I want to take back as much as I can to them; new techniques, pieces, and stories!
I will be forever grateful for any and all donations! For every donation, I will write a hand made thank you card.
Substantial donations (above $50) I will send a thank you card and a post card from the cities I visit in Hungary. These will be sent after I return.
For donations above $100, I will send a thank you card, post cards from Hungary and a personal recording of my playing.
Anything above $500, I will offer everything mentioned above and a house concert/performance at a venue of your choosing!
