And in the blink of an eye, just like that, every single thing can change.
I guess it’s time for an update. Last Sunday evening, I was home minding my own business when I all of a sudden came on with the worst headache of my life. I ignored what my body was telling me and brushed it off to a migraine .
Monday I went about business as usual. The migraine was awful but I figured if I went to OP they would just give me a migraine cocktail and send me on my way. Who has time for that?? Not me. So I sucked it up, went to work, and other than being in pain, had a normal day.
Tuesday, I was off of work and figured I’d get some rest and maybe feel better. It came in waves. I decided late in the day that if it wasn’t better after my Wednesday shift, that I would cave and go to OP.
Thankfully, Wednesday morning, my boss had the good sense to tell me I NEEDED to go. Like, leave amd go get seen. The events that followed were not at all what I was expecting.
I walked around for nearly 72 hours with a brain bleed. An aneurysm. 72 HOURS!!!
To say I feel fortunate is an understatement. I have no clue what good graces are watching over me. But I’m thankful. It looks like I’ll make a full recovery. The surgeons doctors and nurses here at the QE2 are amazing at keeping people alive.
Yeah, that happened.
Updates to follow
