International Women’s Day Swimrise

Donation protected

SwimTribe, a wonderful group of women who swim in the Irish sea everyday at Bettystown, are raising funds for Drogheda Women's & Children's Refuge Centre on Sunday, 8 March to mark International Women’s Day.

Join us for a dip at 7am and help us raise funds for Drogheda Women's & Children's Refuge on this special day which celebrates Women.

About Drogheda Women's & Children's Refuge
Since 1998, Drogheda Women's & Children's Refuge has offered a number of services to families who are being physically, emotionally, sexually or mentally abused in their own home.  They work from a self-help, mutual aid philosophy, which means working with people in a way which acknowledges their strength and courage and offers a range of choices and options.  They are non-judgemental and non-directive, and respond empathetically rather than sympathetically, all in confidence
