Help a Family Find Safety and Stability

I’m reaching out to the public, to friends, family—anyone who may be willing to help. As many of you already know, I’m in a very difficult and painful situation. Some of my closest friends have seen the videos and heard the recordings of the abuse I’ve endured. I’ve done everything in my power to keep pushing forward, but right now I truly need financial help to get my children and myself into a safe, stable home.

I’ve applied for HUD and Section 8, but both programs are currently closed due to high demand. I was approved for assistance through an innovative charity, but they won’t have funding available until at least August. I am working, but after taxes, I bring home less than $1,000 every two weeks. With ongoing expenses, it would take me months to save enough for first month’s rent, a deposit, and utilities.

I have four children, ages 2 to 12, and due to my daughter’s specific needs, she requires her own room. Right now, I don’t even have a bed—I’m sleeping on the couch. For the sake of my mental and emotional health, and most importantly for the well-being of my children, I’m asking for help.
