Jaidah and Morgan's Van Fund

Donation protected
Hello, my name is Jaidah and I would like to tell you a little bit about my family!!!  I am 11 years old and I have a sister named Morgan who is 9.  My mommy is typing this for me because in reality I am unable to do it myself.  My sister and I were both born with a condition called Agenesis of the Corpus Callosum.  The Corpus Callosum is a small piece of tissue in the center of your brain that allows the left and right hemisphere to communicate with each other.  Ours is comepletely missing which results in a lot of secondary conditions in our little bodies.  My sister and I can not talk or walk, we have visual and hearing impairments, high risks of bone fractures, swallowing issues, muscle tone issues and my sister Morgan has a seizure disorder.   So as you can see, because of all our medical issues and disabilites, my sister and I are completely dependent on others for our care.  Most of the time that person is our mommy.  Now that you know all about us I would like to tell you about my mommy.  Her name is Ursula.  She is a 36 year old single mother and she really loves us.  My mommy had to quit her job back in 2013 so she could dedicate all of her time to us to ensure all of our needs are met.  It takes a lot of time and energy for her to be able to take care of us every day.  We require lots of attention and we're pretty heavy young ladies (I'm 60 lbs and my sister is 50lbs) so she has to do a lot of lifting especially in and out of our van.  Due to all of our various medical conditions, my mommy is constantly transporting us to doctor appointments and therapy sessions.  She also takes us on our field trips to Special Olympics and other school functions and ensures that we are in church every Sunday.  Not only is she lifting us but she also has to lift our wheelchairs into the back of our van because it is not wheelchair accessible.  All of this lifting has began to take a toll on my mommy.  She has severe back and neck pain and now has tendonitis is both elbows.  It would be awesome if we could get a van that is wheelchair accessible so she can roll us right into the van with ease and not worry about wearing out her body any more.  That way she will be able to take care of us for many many years to come.  My mommy is a person of faith.  She believes in and loves the Lord Jesus Christ.  We have prayed a lot and believe this is the avenue that God will use to bless us with our new van.  We hope that God will move upon your heart and that you will help us to make life a little bit easier for our mommy.  We thank you in advance for any donation that is laid upon you to give.  I pray God will bless all of you who give in a mighty way.  Thanks again.
