Hello Everyone,
I am starting this campaign for the Montclair State University Men's Ice Hockey team. In mid-February we achieved our goal of qualifying for the 2015 ACHA DII National tournament in Salt Lake City, UT. As the players pay between $2000-$2400 in dues to play, the budget that the dues provide the team has been exhausted due to the regular season and hosting of league playoffs. Our University will provide some funds for this trip to offset the costs, but it is estimated that entire trip will cost approximately $40,000.
Our goal is a small dent in the grand scheme of things ($3000). However the money raised will be utilized for team meals that would have to be paid out of pocket by each player. Hitting our goal would provide each player with approximately 100$ in meal money for the trip. If we accomplish more than our goal, we will be able to reimburse our university for the money that will need to be borrowed.
Please help support the Montclair State University Men's Hockey team accomplish their goal or bringing home a national championship to a university that deserves it!
