Horse Accident

Shelley Headley, of Vashon Horse Supply/ Cedar Valley Stables, of Vashon Island WA suffered a serious injury on September 9th 2018. It was a horse related and happened in up state New York, while helping a friend evaluate the purchase of a horse. She took a sever fall off one of the farm horses, during a trail ride. She unfortunately completely fractured her orbital bone surrounding her left eye.

She was in the hospital in Poughkeepsie NY for three days. She had suffered a major concussion as well from her fall.

Once she got home, she was examined by a head trauma and facial repair and reconstruction doctor, from UW surgery; of course the surgery is imperative to save her vision. She is facing major medical bills. Unfortunately her insurance had lapsed. She will be responsible for all charges, right now possibly exceed 55,000 and that does not include her three days stay at the hospital in New York. We would be asking for any help, as well as good wishes for a complete healthy recovery.

Thank you all for your consideration. From the Headley family and friends.
