Holy Land Pilgrimage

Hello, my name is Olivia. I am fundraising for a pilgrimage to the Holy Land in December! My parish, St. Thomas More, is providing this fantastic opportunity for seniors, and as I graduate with my Nursing degree this December- it is my chance to go!

I hope that through this pilgrimage, after seeing the places where Jesus lived and sacrificed his life, I might bring that love into my life and career as a nurse serving others.

The 10-day trip includes going to Nazareth, Bethlehem, and Jerusalem, walking where Christ once walked and proclaimed the Good News! Some places we will visit will make the Bible come alive, such as Mt. Tabor, where the Transfiguration occurred, the Garden of Gethsemane, and the place I'm most excited about is the Church of the Holy Sepulcher- the very place Jesus conquered death.

Through this pilgrimage, I hope to learn and share more history of the Church and participate in fellowship, but most importantly, I pray to grow closer to God, for Him to strengthen my faith, and help others see Christ's love.
