Zohaar Humanitarian Transition Women's Shelter

Our first project is to develop the Zohaar Humanitarian Women’s Shelter
in Flint, Michigan.  With generous donor help, we have completed our
first stage:

Stage 1: Purchase of a fixer-upper property in Flint.

Stage 2:  to make this a habitable home for our ladies and their kids; we will
be renovating it from the ground up.  Money raised here will be used to primarily
to refurbish the house.

Stage 3: buy furniture, appliances, kitchen utensils, household items, linens
and drapes in order to transform the space into a warm and loving home for our
desperately needy families.

We've set a goal of May 2020 for our Grand Opening,

                 Zohaar is dedicated to assisting women in dire
                  need of shelter not only with a physical shelter but
                 assisting with emotional, psychological and spiritual needs.

                 Zohaar intends to provide:
                      * referral services
                      * counseling
                      * spiritual support
                      * legal resources
                      * housing support
                      * appropriate language interpreters

Zohaar's first project is developing the Zohaar Humanitarian Women's Shelter
in the city of Flint. 

Zohaar will work with individuals to build self-pride; create an environment of
love for humanity and ensure a drug free environment.

Our intention, with the help from the Lord Most High, would be to house at least
ten families offering 5 days accommodations with long-term stays offered
depending on need. We intend to provide physical shelter, meals, a play
area for children, laundry facilities, an open pantry, and all basic necessities.
