Hello, my name is Rebekah, and I am fundraising to save my dog Daisy. She is the sweetest, happiest girl ever, and demands cuddles and pets from everyone she meets. I got her as a puppy almost 6 years ago when I was going through a hard time, and since then we have been inseparable. She always follows me everywhere, and if she can’t come with me she waits at the door until I come home. To this day, she is an extremely vital part of my life and is a significant part of managing my ongoing struggles with mental health. I cannot imagine life without her. Unfortunately, Daisy has sustained an injury that has led to her tearing both of her cruciate ligaments in her back legs, causing her to be in significant amounts of pain, and the only option for treatment is a multiple expensive surgeries. She can barely walk right now because of her injury and significant pain, but with the surgery her legs will both make a full recovery and will be able to run and play like a puppy again.
