Surgery for Tank

Tank is a forgotten shelter dog who currently resides in a part of the shelter not even seen by the public because of an injury to his rear leg.  Tank may have easily been put to sleep for his injury if not for one shelter employee who fell in love with him and cared enough to speak up.  She introduced me (a volunteer of Paws for Life Rescue)  to Tank and made sure that Tank got out to see the vet for an X-ray which determined that Tank had a full tear to his left cruciate ligament and a partial tear to his right cruciate ligament.  For most shelter dogs this news would mean a trip to the euthanasia room -  but we are not going to let this happen to Tank!

Paws for Life Rescue has committed to getting Tank out of the shelter and into foster care where he can quietly recover  from his injury/surgery and will be paying for Tank's surgery and other vet expenses.  Tank's surgery is going to cost the rescue approximately $4000 (which is a very big amount for any rescue!) Please consider giving to help to pay for Tank's surgery and helping him on his way to getting a second chance at life!  Paws for Life Rescue is a registered 501c non-profit and all donations are tax deductible.

Any amount helps!
