Alexis Ruiz's Leukemia battle

For the past 6 months Alexis has been back and forth to the doctor trying to figure out why she was having pain in her abdomen and not feeling well. Last week she finally got some answers and the news is not what a 16 year old young lady wants to hear. Alexis was diagnosed with Leukemia and has a long battle ahead of her. I have known her family for the past 15 years and can't stand by and watch the heart break that they are going through in these tough times. Her father and I have worked together since August of 2000 and he has always been dedicated to providing the best for his family. The problem that they are going to run into is the medical bills that will be coming in due to deductibles and costs that will exceed what their insurance will cover. The last thing that I would want to see is a great family like this lose their home that Alexis grew up in. She will be spending a lot of time in the hospital for treatment and I see their home as the one safe place she has. Please Help Alexis, her twin brothers and parents get through.
