Help Fund Uncle Ike's Scooter

Donation protected
Our beloved Uncle Ike really doesn't need an introduction. Those that know him, know his passion and dedication to serve his community. He has inspired many young men to step into leadership and take on responsibility they otherwise wouldn't attempt.

For many years Ike has been an active member of the Hawaiian Civic Club movement serving in various leadership roles, including President. He also served in the United States Army and the Native Hawaiian Legal Corporation.  Even though he could retire at the end of last year, he currently remains a dedicated employee at the Office of Hawaiiian Affairs.  In the past few years, Ike has experienced deteriorating health.  He continues to walk proudly, but his mobility is very limited and he is frustrated and apologetic for being so slow.  A scooter would be a huge boost to his ability to get around, maintain a high level of productivity, and keep him engaged and active in his community efforts.

We invite you to make this happen for Uncle Ike by sharing anything you are able to.  The cost of the scooter (with taxes and shipping) is approximately $3,200.  Every amount counts, even if it's just $5 (less than the cost of a plate lunch).

Once we have enough funds to make this purchase, we will share with him a list of donors that contributed.  I'll record his reaction when it is delivered.
