<div>Our lifelong friend Michael is fighting his two-year battle with T-cell lymphoma at Moffitt Cancer Center and needs our help. In January 2023, he was diagnosed with stage 3 lymphoma and had to drop out of his last semester in college and quit his job to move from Tallahassee to Tampa so he could begin treatment.

<div>Despite the weight of his diagnosis, and the grueling chemotherapy treatments, he re-enrolled in school, hoping to finish his degree remotely and achieve what he had always dreamed of. Incredibly, Michael managed to complete his studies, and the same week he graduated, he received the news that he was in remission!

<div>Unfortunately, in June 2024, his cancer returned, and he was forced to begin a new cycle of treatment. This treatment includes several rounds of chemotherapy and a stem cell transplant, which should hopefully allow for a permanent remission.

<div>The good news is that the chemo has been going well! The bad news is that, in order to complete the transplant, he has to undergo several preparatory medical procedures. The treatment plan, rent payments, and other monthly living expenses have forced Michael to max out his credit cards, and since he can’t work, he’s leaning on our support to help get him through treatment.
