My Volunteer Trip

Hello everyone and thank you for visiting my GoFundMe page!

For years, I have dreamed of going on a student vounteer trip.  Luckily, I have the chance to go on one this summer!  I intend to go with Rustic Pathways to Thailand, where I will live in a traditional Thai village for over a week.  I will be immersed in the culture and the lifestyle of the village, spending my time educating children and working along with the village residents.  In addition, I will participate in construction projects and agricultural projects.  More information can be found here: http://rusticpathways.com/programs/intro-to-community-service-in-thailand/  I am beyond excited for this opportunity because I will spend time in an area far different than anywhere I have been.  I hope to learn from the people and their community, and to make some contribution for them as well.

Unfortunately, I am short on funding, as my family is unable to afford the whole cost. The amount I want to raise includes the cost for the program, plus airfare. I am hoping that you can support me in following a dream I have had for years.
