Help Mom Fight Leukemia

About a week ago my mother, Dr. Laura K. Brutting, was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. It's a rare form of cancer that requires immediate induction chemotherapy treatment. Unfortunately she does not have insurance and it seems that the application process for any financial assistance programs will take longer than she has. We are rapidly working to get things moving in the right direction with applications for assistance as well as insurance, but she needs to begin treatment immediately. I'm not looking to raise enough money to pay for treatment in full, but anything will help. The deposit for self pay for one treatment is over $30k! Also she has bills that will need to be paid as she will be unable to work during inpatient treatment as well as other associated expenses. She may be a doctor, but she doesn't have much money since she is usually seeing clients for payment as little as a plate lunch.
