Education 4 Ghana
Donation protected
Education for Ghana is created to help support 17 wonderful children go to school. If you are not aware, I was in Ghana for 5 months and in my time there, I came across these amazing children. They are from a very small village in Kasoa and going to school is impossible without financial support.
I made a commitment to the children and their parents to help them go to school so that they will have an education and a better future. Spending my time in Ghana I fell in love with the culture and the people. I am committed to visit Ghana at least once a year to follow up with the school and to ensure their success.
All of the funds from this page will go directly to the kids. As I mentioned before, I made a promise to help these families so I will be also investing a lot of time and money on these children, but your support will be greatly appreciated. This is how the program will work:
1. Choose one of these wonderful 17 children. Yes I know, it's hard. But doing so will create a connection that I would love to encourage. I have the story behind their lives and as I visit them once a year I can send pictures to the sponsors, collect any gifts to take to them and so on.
2. There are 3 school terms in a year in Ghana. It's $71 per term and it will be my dream to find a sponsor that can help each child for as long as they can so that the families can have peace of mind.
3. The $71 covers school fees, transportation fee (to and from their village), and feeding fee. Unfortunatley it does not cover the school supplies or text books. Keep in mind $1USD equals 3 Ghana Cedis. Can you imagine how hard this is for a poor family in Ghana? You see children as young as 7 years old selling stuff on the street to be able to collect money to go to school.
((( This only adds up to $17.75 a month))) Totally worth it for these babies...
Please, please consider sponsoring one of these children. The next term begins in May so if you would like more information please send me a message. :-)
Thank you,
And God Bless You!
