Finding Baby A

Donation protected
Welcome to the Finding Baby A page! We have recently made the decision to adopt a precious child to call our own. For those of you who know our story, you know that we have had our share of struggles in starting a family, but for those of you who don't, here is our story:

We got married in an historic firehouse in Springfield in May of 2009, and that winter, we received the wonderful news that Emily was pregnant. When we went to our first ultrasound in January of 2010, we received the tragic news that our unborn child did not have a heartbeat. In the spring of 2010, we once again received the exciting news, but Emily had a miscarriage a few weeks later. That fall, while at Fort Sill, OK, we once again found out that Emily was pregnant, and, to our dismay, Emily had another miscarriage. Several years and two deployments later, we found out that Emily was pregnant on her birthday in December of 2014. We were overjoyed with the news, and all of the baby's levels seemed to be normal as we made the trek back home for the holidays. Tragically, on Christmas Eve, we once again lost the baby.

While we have lost four unborn children, we have not lost our faith in God. We believe that he has a plan for us; plans to prosper our family, and to give us hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). We believe that He has placed us in a unique position to bless the lives of children around us by showing them His love.
Through our faith and the support of our family and friends, we are able to continue with our dream of becoming the parents that God would have us to be. This dream, though, does come at a price: the average domestic adoption in Georgia is roughly $34,000, and this is where we need your help. We are asking you to prayerfully consider donating to our cause and help us achieve our goal of adopting a child into our family.

Thank you for taking the time to read about our journey, and we look forward to what God has in store for our family!
