Helping Ariana's Dream Come True

Hello friends and family! We are making a plea to you to help Ariana’s dream of attending Joffrey’s NYC Summer Ballet Intensive come true! Ariana has had a passion and love for dance since the ripe age of 4 years old. For the past 9 years, her passion on the dance floor exudes. She has been a competition dancer for 5 years and has been trained in Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Tap, Contemporary, Hip Hop, and African. Ariana is currently in a local Ballet Company. She is in 7th grade at a school for the arts, an A/B Honor Roll student, and dances 5 days a week, accumulating 15-20 hours total. Ariana is driven, focused and a hard worker. She knows that she must work hard for what she wants and has proven this every day of her life. She has used her own money to pay for dance classes, master classes, private lessons, and items such as a foot stretcher and ballet band that will help her with her form and technique to be the best dancer she can be. When watching Ariana dance you can see how much love and passion goes into her work. She spends her free moments conditioning, training, and choreographing. Her personal journey has not been easy, and she has overcome a lot of struggles. She was abandoned by her father as an infant who has provided no financial contribution, she once had low self-confidence, people have bullied her, and she has been told her that she will never make it as a performer.  However, she has never given up and has fought for her dream amidst doubt and discouragement. One thing that has remained constant is her dedication and determination. We have done everything we can to ensure that dance remains a constant in her life; as it is her love, ministry and her release. If you ask her, she would tell you that it is her life and that she wants to dance to inspire others and encourage them to strive for their goals. One of her life goals is to have a traveling dance studio to give free dance lessons to underprivileged children. Ariana has such a zest for life and sees beyond her own interests and needs, as she has a huge heart and is caring towards others by her volunteer work with children in the community through her church, dance studio, and Casa Manana.

She is a true inspiration and I want to show her that if you stay true to God, believe in yourself, and work hard, your dreams will come true.  Ariana recently auditioned for the world famous Joffrey Ballet Summer Intensive and was accepted! This is such a huge honor considering there are a limited number of participants selected through nation- wide auditions. Ariana would like to go to NYC to train with master instructors, learn new technique and focus on classical ballet while working towards her dream of becoming a professional.  Please assist us in showing Ariana that hard work and dedication can pay off and that dreams can come true. Any assistance that you can give to provide Ariana with this once in a lifetime opportunity is much appreciated!
