More information about Atlanta Dream Center dba Out of Darkness Atlanta: For survivors of sexual exploitation, the path to restoration can be lengthy and difficult to navigate alone. With a goal to provide holistic and trauma-informed care, Atlanta Dream Center’s anti-trafficking division, Out of Darkness, offers outreach, crisis stabilization services, and program placement all through the lens of relationship. The consistent presence of Out of Darkness staff and volunteers provide a stable, safe space for victims to seek refuge. Out of Darkness is poised to respond to crisis situations, efficiently coordinate the care needed for stabilization, and make connections to long-term care on behalf of survivors.
Beyond direct-care services, Out of Darkness also raises awareness and addresses underlying cultural factors that contribute to the evils of sex trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation.
