We're on a mission to raise funds for some organizations that we think are making a huge impact:
Cool Earth ,
End the Backlog ,
Harm Reduction Services
We've set the goal of raising at least $1500, or $500 each.
If we are able to reach this goal early, we would like to shoot for $1000 each.

We are Team Mystic Moose; a small band of good friends trying to discover what adventure means in the modern world, and do a little good along the way.
The Mongol Rally is a charity road rally where the goal is to drive from just outside of Prague in the Czech Republic all the way to Ulan-Ude, Russia in a tiny, ill-suited car with an engine of 1.2L or less. It is left up to each team to decide how to get from the start to the finish, with some teams going as far north as Siberia or as far south as Pakistan. This years’ rally starts on July 15th and over 300 teams are participating with people from all over the world. While it is considered a race, the true goal of the rally is not to get to the finish line first, it’s to experience a part of the world that few have the privilege to meet and interact with people that wont be represented in a sound bite on CNN or Fox. It is to visit some of the oldest cities in the world and build friendships with your teammates that will last a lifetime, all while raising funds to help make the world a better place.

Ruin the Rally: Plan our Playlist
We have a long road ahead of us, literally, and we'll be crammed in this tiny car for over 70 days. What's any roadtrip without a good playlist? We are turning to you, good people of GoFundMe and the internet beyond, to help build us a playlist worthy of the greatest roadtrip of all time.
For the low low price of $1 a song, you can help plan our playlist. We’re putting our trips playlist, the lifeblood of great memories and the tone setter of parties, in your hands. We want you to pick the most epic (or most awful) songs possible and we will be (Dragon)forced to listen to them along the way. This is your chance to control the jukebox at the bar, play whatever music you’re wanting to and we’ll rock (‘n roll) along with you. We will post photos and video of us singing along with Queen and T-Swift, or of our misery at hearing The Proclaimers - I’m Gonna Be for the 37th time in a row so you know you’re getting your money’s worth.
When you donate, include in the message box both the Song Title and Artist. No limit to the number of songs in a row.

About the charities:
Cool Earth works alongside indigenous villages to halt rainforest destruction. Local people stand to lose the most from deforestation but the most to gain from its protection, that’s why they are the forest’s best possible custodians. All Cool Earth partnerships are community-owned and led. By developing local livelihoods, their mission is to end the cycle of deforestation entrenching villages into further poverty. Creating strong, self-determining communities.
End The Backlog is an initiative to shine a light on the backlog of untested rape kits throughout the United States. Their goal is to end this injustice by conducting groundbreaking research identifying the extent of the nation’s backlog and best practices for eliminating it, expanding the national dialogue on rape kit testing through increased public awareness, engaging communities and government agencies and officials, and advocating for comprehensive rape kit reform legislation and policies at the local, state, and federal levels.
Harm Reduction Services provides non-judgmental overdose prevention and response education, std screening, SafePoints syringe exchange, clinic services, and basic hygiene products to members of our community who use drugs in the Sacramento Area. The concept of Harm Reduction aims to mitigate the harms associated with the use of psychoactive drugs, with a focus on those who are currently unable or unwilling to stop. It’s an approach that is cost-effective, practical, feasible, and effective. As opioid overdose takes over as the number one cause of accidental death in the U.S., HRS has seen the reversal of 538 overdoses through their Overdose Recognition and Response Training program as of Dec. 2017. Check here for more detail on Harm Reduction.
