Myles' Medical/Recovery

Donation protected
Myles was involved in a motorcycle accident on September 15th. A driver pulled a U-turn and drove right into Myles' lane, hitting him with his front passenger side of his car. Myles slid down the car and was trapped under the front passenger while the car was still moving. He was dragged 20+ feet before a gentleman in another car pulled in front of that car in order to get the driver to stop fleeing. The gentleman that made the car stop immediately pulled Myles from the car and the driver then fled the scene. They have not been able to identify the driver.
The first 4 days in the hospital Myles was on a respirator. He's had over 25 surgeries in the month that he has been admtted. The doctors have been battling to save Myles' left arm and leg from the aftermath of the road rash from being dragged so far. He developed a flesh eating fungus in his shoulder from the debris on the road that was life threatening but the doctors caught it early enough to address it.  He's not completely out of the clear with this, he's on an IV that address the fungus for the next few weeks. The doctors said this is equivalent to Chemo without your hair falling out. It's been making him feel terrible, making him nauseous and not eating well.
He most recently had skin graphs done on his shoulder and leg that he's recovering from now. They took the skin from his right arm (good arm) and some from his left leg. He's had multiple surgeries on his leg & knee where he broke his kneecap, and the peddle of the bike went into his foot causing nerve damage.
Needless to say, he has a long road of recovery ahead of him. The doctors are saying it's going to be at least a year long rehabilitation from these injuries. Due to the fact that they have not found the driver, we are on our own with medical bills. Not counting the fact that Myles is not working so he is not able to pay bills. The prayers that we received from friends and family clearly helped and we are so greatful for them. We are asking for any type of donation here if possible. Anything helps him out in the situation.

Thanks again and Myles will be updating this periodically on his recovery.
