Myke's Firestorm Aid

As many of you know, Myke has been teaching for Xenophon for as long as the center has been in existence. Over the last 15 years, she has driven from her ranch in Santa Rosa every Tuesday in order to teach her students at Xenophon.
In the wee hours of Monday morning, October 8th, Myke's husband David woke up to go the bathroom. He wondered why it seemed so light out and why he was smelling smoke. He stepped outside to see their barn on fire and flames consuming most of their property. He woke Myke who threw on sweat pants and ran down to the engulfed barn. All she had time to do was to turn her 3 horses loose, hoping they could fend for themselves while her husband grabbed the dogs and started the car. They had no time to grab anything else. They jumped in their car, trying to four-wheel over downed trees. They eventually had to abandon the car and walk out in the midst of the flames. Myke and David and the dogs made it out after a 5-hour ordeal. Myke had no word on her horses until Tuesday afternoon. They ultimately were found alive and unscathed. However, Myke and David's ranch was not so lucky. Her barn and her house are gone. They literally escaped with the clothes on their back.
Many at Xenophon have been asking how they might help Myke. She is in desparate need of tack for her horses. Generous volunteers at the Santa Rosa fairgrounds gave them halters, grain bins, a brush and a manure rake. She has nothing else for them. Obviously, they are in dire need of clothing and personal items. They literally have nothing.
We have set up this GoFundMe page for those wishing to help and make a donation. These funds will go directly to Myke. We are also collecting donations at Xenophon for those who wish to purchase gift cards. Xenophon staff will be putting together a grooming kit in which we can place the gift cards and we will be delivering it at the end of next week. Suggestions for gift cards would be:

As stated above, these funds will be used by Myke to purchase the personal, household, and horse items needed to get them back on their feet. These funds will be delivered directly to Myke.
