Mykal Drexler's Cancer Fund

In late 2022, our dear friend, Mykal Drexler was diagnosed with Glioblastoma (brain cancer). Doctors told Mykal he potentially has four months (without treatment) to a year with chemotherapy left to live. Some may not know that Mykal survived a near-fatal motor vehicle accident that nearly claimed his life in 1998 from which he spent a year recovering.

Mykal is one of the strongest people we’ve ever known. He has begun to start treatment this week and we are asking for any assistance possible with any donations to provide his family with some financial relief and help him through the toughest battle he has ever fought.

Mykal has dedicated not only his personal but his professional life to improving the lives of the people around him. These acts of kindness include, but are not limited to inspiring and encouraging others to showcase their musical talents, especially giving a chance on the longshot no one ever considered.

It is not uncommon for Mykal to offer an ear to listen to during strife, a shoulder to cry on during difficult times, a meal to eat without any hesitation, and even a roof over your head when the rain begins to pour. He’s even been known to give the shirt off his own back to someone who needed it more than him. We are starting this campaign to provide Mykal with the much-needed comfort, compassion, and generosity that he has offered so many others his entire life.
