Frank Allis Elementary Families

Frank Allis Elementary serves 450 students on Madison's southside.  Our families have been especially impacted by school closures.  The Family and Community Alliance (FCA) at Allis Elementary is raising funds to meet the needs of entire families during this uncertain time.  Throughout the time our school has been closed, we have been meeting the needs of five southside area neighborhoods by delivering groceries to common areas and green spaces.  Families can access enough food to feed a family of four each week through our 'Walk-Up Food Pantry.' All of these neighborhoods are in food deserts in our community, that have been especially impacted by changes to infrastructure, like public transportation, during this time.  

As of August 20, 2020 over 200,000 lbs of food has been delivered to the Rimrock Rd area apartment complexes that comprise some of our attendance area.
