Loss of Home

On Sunday, February 23, 2020 my elderly neighbor was rescued from her burning home.  The house is a complete loss and unbeknown to her the insurance had lapsed.  All her possessions and belongings were lost, she has lived in the home since the 1950's.  The Red Cross was able to help her with medication, clothing and until Friday 2/28  in a hotel.  She needs a place to live and feel safe.  Senior housing as you know is so expensive, approximately $4,000 a month, and her limited Social Security will not cover anything close to that.  All she wants to do is go home but without insurance to rebuild her home, that is unfortunately impossible.  It's pretty much the only home she has lived in and we have known her for 20 years and come to love and care for her as she is a very wonderful person. We are just trying to help her in anyway we can, anything you could do to help would be an amazing gift.
