Multiple Myeloma patient on skids

I was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma. This is a rare type of blood cancer that affects the bone marrow.

I was in shock to find out that this is a rare disease. Statistics are very limited with the survival rate for a Myeloma Patient. Myeloma usually affects patients in their senior years. Currently, there is no cure for Multiple Myeloma.

There are trials and medications on the market that are being used but they are very expensive. 

I am is going through massive amounts of chemotherapy. This is a very expensive cancer to treat because big pharmaceuticals don't see a profit in the medication due to it being a rare disease. I am a postal worker on a limited budget. My medical insurance co-pays and coinsurance supersede my take home pay. I am on the skids and overwhelmed with the financial burden of being treated.

Stress is a common factor in my life because of this condition. If anyone could be so kind as to contribute whatever they could afford
to help me pay for my treatment I would be eternally grateful.

I could only hope to live as long as i could with a good quality of life until they work on and develop a cure that may extend my life.
