Rebuild Pat's Riverside Food Hut

Many of you have journeyed to my favorite place in Jamaica, the famous secret falls. You've reveled in its natural beauty, and the loving hospitailty of our host, Pat.  

Last week two vandals torched and burned to the ground her food and chill out hut.  Everything Pat does is a labor of love and a celebration of life.  This pointless act of casual cruelty hurt her heart and disrupted her ability to host family and friends at this quintessential hidden Jamaican treasure.

She wears the hardship bravely and with typical resilience, but she doesn't have the necessary funds to rebuild and is at a complete loss as to how to carry on.

We can help! $3000 will purchase all necessary material and pay a carpenter to fully restore the hut to its orignal condition, as well as fence a crucial access area to ensure its future security. 

I will personally monitor the restoration project.  Everyone I've taken to the falls knows what an important part of my Jamaican life it holds, and how special and welcome Pat makes all of us feel.  She is truly family and she needs our help.

I've never done anything like this before so I know you will understand how important Pat is in my life, and how truly grateful I am for whatever help you can provide.
