My Dad's Bucket List

Welcome to my fundraising page.
I'm here to raise money for my bucket list I made for my Dad. My dad was dignosed with pancreatic cancer about 3 years ago. Luckily, he was able to beat it, by getting surgery and chemo. For the number of medical emergencies we have had in our families life time we were incredibly lucky to beat such a scary, daunting, diagnosis as pancreatic cancer. At that time I vowed to make my time with my Dad count. I created a bucket list of things we wanted to do, together, before the end, whenever that would be.
We started on it, going to Hawaii, phesant hunting, etc... Eventually, pursuing the list took a back burner to me going to college in the west and life taking its daily toll with the distance between my family and I.
About 6 months ago I moved home to find my bearings.
About a month ago my Dad found out his pancreatic cancer had returned, this time in his lungs. Since the cancer had migrated and started growing in a new location it was automatically classified at stage 4. Again, we found ourselves in the lucky situation of finding it extremely early and the cancer itself presenting as a slow growing cancer.
My Dad plans to pursue chemo in the Fall of this year. Until then, my goal is revisit the bucket list. My Dad could have 1 year, he could have 5; heck, he could have 10. But, all I know is that the cancer is back and I'm compelled to enjoy my Dad as much as I can while he is still feeling good.
I appreciate everyone who has already donated and all of those who will donate. This is my creative way of giving the gift of life and family to my Dad.
As always, we deeply appreciate the extensive support system that has been cultivated. The energy and community support behind us during these tough times always brings significant warmth to our hearts.
