Major Home Repairs

We are the Sapp/Cortes family and this picture is my family that we raised in a small 900 sq. foot home over 14 years. Our children are grown now and our house is in desparate need of repairs that we couldn't afford to make while the children were growing up. As the years wore on, the house, which was built in 1952, continued to deteriorate. Last year we received the deed to the house from our family. Over the years the floors sagged and the walls had a few holes and we figured we would get to repairing eventually. Well last year Keith decided that we needed to move out in order to get the repairs done. It is fortunate that we moved when we did because after we were out Keith stated that the ceiling in one room would have come down on us. So began the rebuild. We had no idea that the floor joices were completely rotten and that the walls were termite ridden. What started out as a short-term repair of many small things has become a major repair to keep the home. We have purchased the boards and subflooring and Keith has been trying, by himself, to get everything done. The walls/ceiling will have to be replaced and we will have to run plumbing for a second bathroom. We are out of funds due to paying rent, electricity for 2 places, water,  and a storage fee and we don't see a way to get out of the situation without additional funds. We are rebuilding our credit but it is nowhere near where it needs to be to make the repairs, replace all the windows that need to be replaced and fix the roof.  If you would consider donating, every cent will go to the repairs and maybe getting someone to help us get it all completed.
