Hi everyone,

My name is Cynthia Reed and my sister-in-law Vanessa and I are trying to raise money to help Vanessa's friend, Sara. A series of unfortunate events has lead her to needing some support to get back on her feet.

Back in 2020, Sara had a stroke that led her to not be able to care for her daughter. Her cousin has been taking care of her but Sara is working hard to get her back. If Sara is unable to care for her, her daughter might have to enter foster care.

Sara is currently looking for work but she is unable to drive and relies on public transportation or walking. She struggles with her speech since the stroke which has caused her to not be able to find a job. She is currently living in an extended stay hotel but is very behind on her bill and will have to leave soon. Vanessa and her mom bought her groceries today so she is set with that for now but we would love to raise her some funds to pay towards her hotel bill or find another place to stay.

She does have a case worker and is working on getting assistance but as many of you know, this process takes a very long time.

The world is a crazy place right now and Vanessa and I feel really compelled to try to help someone in our local community. Anything you can give will be greatly appreciated.
