Tahoe 200 Miler: Running for Kids
Tax deductible
My name's Mike DeNoma. I now live and work in Yangon, Myanmar. My goal is to raise money to build a dormitory for 55 terrific children who face the challenge of being born with HIV. They are bubbly, fun and curious as all children are; they just need a drier and cleaner place to live, sleep and play :-). The design is done and the dormitory can be completed for $55,000.
To that end, I am running the Tahoe 200 mile Ultra. It is 205.5 miles to be exact, roughly eight consecutive marathons at altitude, up and down 40,000ft. The race begins Friday, September 8th, at 9:00 AM PDT and ends Tuesday, September 12th, at 1:00 PM PDT (100-hour cut off).
