<div>On March 28, a powerful 7.7-magnitude earthquake and subsequent aftershocks struck Myanmar, with Sagaing and Mandalay in central Myanmar being the hardest-hit regions. Amid the ongoing military coup, UN agencies, NGOs/INGOs, and local charities have faced severe restrictions and repression, making it difficult to deliver aid to conflict-affected communities.

<div>Despite international governments and the public striving to provide timely assistance, the military junta continues to suppress relief efforts, prioritizing the preservation of its illegitimate power over the well-being of Myanmar’s people. As the death toll surpasses 2,600 within just three days, many remain missing or trapped under the rubble.
