MY ANGELS MEMORIAL

I know some of you may not know me very well but I'm asking from the heart to please read my girls story below before disregarding and deleting this post, I kindly thank you.

The reason I started this gofundme campaign and reaching out to you is to help us with the purchase of a proper memorial for my fiancé Katelyn and baby girl Ashlyn Rose.

I'm simply asking for a few minutes of your time to read my girls story below before disregarding this post.

Last August Katelyn was involved in a tragic accident involving a drunk driver. Sadly Katelyn and Ashlyn Rose passed away a few days after the accident.

------ Our Angels Story ------

I met Katelyn in 2015 not long after I moved to Toronto. It took all my courage to approach this beautiful woman and strike up a conversation.

I honestly thought that she would laugh in my face. To my surprise we had a lot in common and must have talked for a couple of hours. To me it was love at first sight but didn't want to come on too strong lol.

We went on a few dates and after a few weeks she asked me if I loved her? I got butterflies and managed to spit out the words "since day one". She then said "good because I think that I love you as well". I remember this like it was yesterday, that was one of the happiest days of my life.

Since that night it seemed that we were inseparable and seen each other as much as possible. A few weeks later while we were taking one of our many nightly walks she told me that she was pregnant. I was so happy but speechless, it felt like I was dreaming.

We were both overjoyed and excited. A couple of weeks passed and I decided to propose to Katelyn, she said yes. We were to be married in May of this year.

Days and weeks went by and we decided that we wanted to know if we were going to have a boy or girl. We found out that we were going to have a baby girl.

Now we had to decide on a name and after going through many names we decided on Ashlyn Rose. Ashlyn Rose was due October 22, 2016.

I was in Winnipeg visiting family and friends and late August I got a call from Katelyn's dad informing me that there was an accident and it didn't look good. I boarded the first plane back to be with my girls.

The accident occurred on August 30th, 2016. Katelyn was critical and not conscious, she was about 7 months pregnant. The doctors told us that to try and save Ashlyn Rose they had to deliver her premature. Katelyn passed away on September 4th, Ashlyn Passed away a couple of days later on September 6th.

My heart is broken, our families scraped up enough money for the casket and basic funeral service. I am on disability and her dad was on a very small pension and we couldn't afford a proper memorial for our angels.

We are reaching out to everyone we can for donations to help us purchase a proper memorial for Katelyn and Ashlyn Rose. This is not easy and we are asking from the heart, we cannot afford the full amount.
