Alex's Birthday Surprise

Hi friends,

As you probably know, Alex's birthday is just around the corner, and so a few of us thought we'd establish a pension fund for Alex's little rocket ship (if you know, you know). It's been a loyal companion these last few years, and, especially this last year, it really went into overdrive to support them in their creative endeavors and to make them feel connected with their friends, no matter how far away they were. From long-distance movie nights and pen and paper adventures in space to late-night video edits and early morning summer school sessions, this machine always gave 110 percent—and made sure that everyone within a 10m radius would be well aware of it.

After years of hard work and patching it up with newer parts, Alex's laptop is now slowing down, and we wanted to act before things come to a full stop. Every contribution helps, but we know that, especially in the time of the free penguins, not everyone is in a position to donate, and that's ok! If anyone wants me to pass on a handwritten note to Alex on their birthday, let me know!
