Courtney's Medical Fund

Our sweet friend, sister and co-worker, Courtney, is in need of your help. Courtney has been an RN for 3 years. She is an extremely hard-worker and is very passionate and dedicated to what she does for others. Unfortunately, over the past year and a half, Courtney has been suffering from what doctors are saying is "an extremely rare autoimmune disorder". Courtney has been seen by countless doctors (rheumatologists, oncologists, hematologists, etc.) and has been in and out of several different hospitals around the Little Rock area hoping to get the correct diagnosis so she can start proper treatment. Her physicians have run every test possible and have even started Courtney on chemotherapy hoping to see some response from her undiagnosed disorder. Courtney's condition has not improved since starting chemotherapy, which has caused her to not be able to work or complete certain activities of daily living. Her physicians have now recommended that the next step for her should be to get treatment out of state. Courtney has an appointment at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota for Thursday, February 26, 2015.
