Help Me Help My Mom

Hello, this is Leigh and I’m trying to raise some money to help my mom in Whitestone, NY. As some of of you know, 2017 was an incredibly difficult year for our family; we experienced many challenges and much loss, including the death of my father to pancreatic cancer just 2 months ago. Just when we were ready to put the year behind us, my mother’s home caught fire and left her with nothing but the clothes on her back. She escaped the fire safely but all of her clothes, furniture, family keepsakes and the comfort of her home that she lived in for over 30 years are gone. She will have to start her life from scratch and I am asking you to help her get started. Anyone that knows my mom knows what a kind, thoughtful, generous and strong person she is. She would never ask for this kind of help for herself, that’s why I am asking on her behalf. She is a great person and deserves a little greatness in her life. Any donation will help in getting her situated and be much appreciated so please help me make 2018 her best year yet. Thank you so much.
