My wife and I are blessed with 2 beautiful boys (My2BoysBBQ)
My family and friends know very well of my passion for BBQ! I am also a HS PE Teacher and my students know of this passion as well! I am regularly approached by people about trying my food. The thought of starting my own business has become a very real possibility! It is also a goal of mine to give back to my community through charity and community service events! I would love to get this up and running! That can start NOW!
The first event I would love to start planning is a school-wide fundraiser! Through my following on Instagram I have been contacted by Premier Meat Company in California who wants to donate all of the Meat in order for me to throw a BBQ for my students. It will be a school wide event and raise money for Charities close to my heart. However, I do not have the resources to cook this amount of meat.
As a business, I see myself planning future fundraisers, community events or even providing an easy week of meals for a family going through a hardship. I am also a registered volunteer with OPERATION BBQ RELIEF who provides meals for displaced families during natural disaster events. Opportunities like this will require a larger certified and approved Cooker. I have been given an incredible price (4K) on a Myron Mixon MMS-48 Smoker (retail 7k) that would create the capability to easily prepare food for upwards of 200+ people. This will provide me the chance to continue to give back to a community that has provided an invaluable amount of Love and Support for my Family! With a goal of 3k I will be putting in the final 1k which put us at 4K to purchase the Cooker!
Please consider helping us in this endeavor!!! If you are local and you donate you will be invited to a “Thank You” party once the Smoker is purchased to taste my meat!!! Haha!
Any money raised over our goal will be donated to Operation Smile to help pay for cleft surgeries for children in need!
Also, if the goal is reached, as a Thank You for those who donate, I will be raffling off 2 Club Box tickets to a 2018-2019 Philadelphia Eagles Game Pre-Season game!
