My name is Sheldon Norman and I am fundraising for my wife Lindsey Savona ...
Our family has been hit with devastating news that our beloved Lindsey has been diagnosed with ovarian cancer and must under go a major surgery, a full hysterectomy, and possible further treatment if the surgeon is unable to remove all effected areas. This surgery is necessary to make sure that Lindsey is able to continue to be a devoted mother of her two beautiful children Cassandra 20 and Gabriel 10, wife to Sheldon Norman, Stepmom to Zion and Lisha, Daughter Oscar Savona and Sherry chambers, and sister to Brandy Gouglas, Jasmine Gouglas, Yvonne Savona and Sebastian too❤️
The surgery is booked for November 5th 2018 and we are reaching out to all of our friends, family, and community to help come together to help ease the financial strain that the family will face. With an expected recovery time of 15-20 weeks, Lindsey will not be able to work and this will have a tremendous financial burden in medical cost not covered by OHIP Such as natural Private nutrition support and homeopathic treatments, basic needs in general such as, housing, transportation, food, child care expenses as Lindsey will be on strict bed rest, and utilities to name a few. We are very worried about being able to maintain all of this and more with such a limited and single income.
This is a very urgent and time sensitive matter. We are starting this go fund me page in hopes that by the time the surgery is here, the family is in a better financial position to be able to focus on the most important thing and that is the care and recovery from such a traumatic event rather then being burdened with additional stress of financial hardships.
Any and every cent donated will help, and we ask that everyone shares this with friends, family and their community and most of all we ask for prayers for a safe surgery and full recovery.
