My Volunteer Trip to the D.R

Hi! I'm Isabel and I'm a senior at an all girls Catholic school in New York. This year, I was chosen to attend my school's annual mission trip to the Dominican Republic. Through your donations, I will be able to afford to go on this trip and purchase the supplies needed to help many poor families struggling in the D.R, especially after the multiple hurricanes and tropical storms they have endured.
The trip is in the beginning of November, so I would need the funds in the next month. We will help build a school for young children, restore the damaged homes, plant wildlife, and many more activities.
With your support, I will be able to live out my passion for helping others and respond to the call as Catholics to carry out the work of God. There are many times when we say we will do something good or say we want to help, but to actually go out of your comfort zone and do it is so much more powerful.
I would be so grateful to be able to share in this once-in-a life-time experience and help others.
