My Unexpected Costs

Some of you have asked how you might help me during this difficult time...
Since the tragic and sudden death of my father, I find myself in a financial situation that is difficult to pass through alone. As many of you might know, I live and work in Chile but came back to the US over Christmas to spend time with family. After spending two wonderful weeks with my dad, stepmom, and little brother and sister in Florida, I flew to New Jersey to visit my mom, stepdad, and little brother. While I was on my way to NJ from Orlando, my Dad’s "cold", (actually Influenza B) took a turn for the worse and he was placed in ICU on a ventilator. 36 hours later, I rushed back to Orlando to say goodbye to my Dad prior to being disconnected from life support. Only 4 days after my dad died, my uncle passed away unexpectedly. I remained in Orlando an awesome extra week to attend my uncle's service and help my stepmom with my little brother and sister cope and adjust with their new lives without our Dad. Now, I am driving up to New Jersey to spend a little time with my mom before heading to Tennessee to visit my grandma, who was diagnosed with breast cancer this past year. My boyfriend came from Chile to be with me and support me through all of this... He and I hope to avoid hotels as much as possible as we have family and friends who live along the way. My visit to the US has been extended because of the tragic deaths of my dad and uncle... My employer has been generous and has allowed me to take some extra time to be with my family while I am here, however this is unpaid time. I do have several traveling expenses (rental car, gas, food, etc) of which I did not anticipate. Several people have recommended that I find a grief counselor to meet with remotely while living in Chile, but I do not know how I will afford it.
I am feeling really overwhelmed with what has happened and believe that receiving financial support would help ease some of this worry and give me some comfort. If you feel in your heart to help me financially through this difficult time in my life, I would so appreciate it.
