I don't like asking for money but am making an exception and would be grateful of your support in my modest contribution to the incredibly valuable fund and awareness raising lead by Sir Chris Hoy. My own experience of prostate cancer has been much less impactful of his in that I was lucky enough to get tested early enough for an intervention to be curative.

I am raising funding for Prostate Scotland which is my local prostate charity organisation and one which is heavily supported by the amazing Professor Alan McNeill and his team to whom I owe a personal debt of gratitude.

As most of you will know, cycling has been my exercise of choice for a few years so it is easy for me to get behind the Tour De 4 practically as well as emotionally. The route is new to me but c.90 kilometres round Glasgow and Stirlingshire will be amazing new ground for me and should take me less than 4 hours.

Please drop a few quid in my basket to speed my pedals.
